Clear Your Browser Cache (and Do a Hard Refresh)

Best for: When a site looks “stuck,” styles look wrong, or changes aren’t showing.

Steps

1. Try a hard refresh first (quickest fix):

   • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R (Chrome/Firefox/Edge)

   • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R (Chrome/Firefox)

2. If the page still looks wrong, open an Incognito/Private window:

   • Chrome: Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + N

   • Firefox: Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + P

3. If it works in Private mode but not normal mode, clear cache:

   • Open your browser Settings

   • Find Privacy & Security

   • Choose Clear browsing data

4. Select:

   • Cached images and files ✅

   • (Optional) Cookies ✅ if you’re also having login issues

   • Set time range to All time (or Last 7 days if you prefer)

5. Click Clear data and close/reopen the browser.

6. Return to the page and refresh once more.
