What this covers: Creating a site-wide header/footer (and optionally excluding certain pages).
You’ll need: Divi Theme Builder access.
Steps
-
In WordPress, go to Divi → Theme Builder.
-
Click Add Global Header → Build Global Header (or choose Add From Library if you have one saved).
-
In the header layout, add your modules (common: Image for logo, Menu for navigation, Button for CTA).
-
Click the purple … menu at the bottom → Save.
-
Back in Theme Builder, click Add Global Footer → Build Global Footer and add your footer elements (contact info, socials, copyright).
-
(Optional) To exclude pages: click the gear icon on the Theme Builder template → Use On tab → toggle pages/posts/categories to include/exclude.
-
Click Save Changes in the Theme Builder.
Quick troubleshooting
-
Header not showing? Make sure you clicked Save Changes in Theme Builder (not just saved inside the layout builder).
-
Styles look off? Check if another plugin is minifying/combining CSS aggressively.
