How Do I Log In to cPanel?

cPanel is a control panel for certain website-hosting tasks. If your hosting service includes client access, you may be given a cPanel login. Available tools depend on your permissions; some areas are managed exclusively by our support team.

Before you begin

Have your hosting welcome email or approved login link available. Your cPanel credentials are different from your WordPress administrator login and your email login.

How to sign in

  1. Open the cPanel or hosting control-panel link provided by your agency. Do not guess the server address or follow an unexpected login link.
  2. Enter the hosting-control-panel username and password assigned to you, or use the supported single-sign-on option if one was provided.
  3. Complete any additional verification required.
  4. After signing in, use only the tools and settings enabled for your account.

What you cannot manage through cPanel

Email accounts and website backups are not available for customer self-service through cPanel. Do not use cPanel instructions from unrelated hosting providers to attempt these tasks. If you need an email-account change or a website backup, submit a support ticket instead.

If you cannot access cPanel

  1. Check that you are using the assigned cPanel login rather than a WordPress or webmail login.
  2. Try the official link in a private browser window to rule out a saved incorrect password.
  3. If you were never provided access, contact support to confirm whether your account includes it.
  4. If an error appears, note the exact message and avoid repeated login attempts that could trigger a security block.

Important precautions

Changing server configuration, file permissions, databases, or PHP settings without guidance can disrupt a working website. Ask support before making unfamiliar changes.

Still need help?

Submit a ticket with your website domain, the login URL you used, and a screenshot or exact error message. Never include a password or verification code.
