What Services Are Included With My Hosting Plan?

Website hosting provides the server resources that make your website accessible online. Your plan may also include management, maintenance, backups, email, security, or other services–but these are not automatically included in every hosting plan.

Services that are often separate

  • Website hosting: stores and serves the website’s files, database, and application.
  • Website maintenance: may cover WordPress core, plugin and theme updates, monitoring, and managed repairs.
  • Email hosting: provides individual business mailboxes or access to an external provider such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
  • Domain registration: keeps a domain name registered and renewed through a registrar.
  • DNS management: controls records that direct your domain to websites and email services.
  • SSL/TLS: provides encrypted HTTPS connections; certificate management may be included or billed separately.
  • Website content updates: may be included for a limited number of requests or charged as project work.
  • AIOTB: a separate business platform for contacts, communications, appointments, and sales workflows where subscribed.

How to check your coverage

  1. Review your signed agreement, service proposal, recent invoice, or client portal.
  2. Look for the specific service names and any usage limits or support exclusions.
  3. Confirm who is responsible for domain renewal, email subscriptions, backups, and content changes.
  4. Ask support to clarify any service that is not explicitly listed.

Common misunderstanding

Having a website hosted with one provider does not necessarily mean that provider owns your domain registration or manages your email. All three may be managed in different accounts.

Still need help?

Contact support with your company name and the service you want clarified. Ask for a list of what is included, what is optional, and how to request changes or additional service.
